King Salmon (Spring)
CONTINUE SHOPPING SPRING SHARES >
Alaska winter-caught king salmon is really a succulent delicacy - that’s all there is to it. Extra fat reserves from winter-foraged herring and squid give these kings an added omega-3 boost. They are extra buttery and velvety - even more so than the summer or fall king salmon fillet portions.
Whether grilled, baked, or pan-seared, our King salmon promises a gourmet dining experience that's sure to impress. The largest and most elusive of the the five pacific salmon species, King salmon (also known as Chinook), are prized for having over 50% more Omega-3’s than Coho or Sockeye Salmon. It’s the chef’s choice!
Note: You’re in luck! We still have king salmon that was caught in October and November of 2025. Don’t worry - we keep the fillet portions extra chilly at -10 to -35F so they’re just as tasty as always.
Your Fisher: Lynn Steyaart of F/V Miss Alice (Honeywilya Fish product)
Fishing Method: Troll caught (hook-n-line)
Fillets portions range between 0.8-1.2 lbs. each. Expect to see roughly 5-7 packages in the 5 pound share; 10-14 packages in the 10 pound share, and; 15-21 packages in the 15 pound share. Bonus: Spring Shares (just like the winter ones) will be a mix of red and ivory king salmon fillet portions. Double yum-yum!
